What Women Auto Know by Dominique??
| Excellent Class!!!!!! I left empowered!!!! On June 19, 2010 I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Audra of What Women Auto Know. She was very personable, knowledgeable, sincere, and dished out some great auto
advice. It was a small, comfortable size group of inquiring women. The
topic of the day was “rubber". It was a "hands on class". All the women
had a chance see, do, and ask questions on everything she went over.
She covered a range of topics such as: how to find a mechanic, how to
prolong the life of a car, ways to save money, Identifying parts under
the hood; all about brake fluids, fan belt, squeaking, how to identify
quality tires, putting air in tires, how to check for tire pressure,
where to check to find your cars tire pressure numbers, how to replace
windshield wiper blades; Identifying engine oil, transmission oil,
Where to place cables on a battery for a boost, good record keeping,
and last but not least to ALWAYS ASK the mechanic TO SHOW ...? More » |

the problem is when seeking help. Also, the mechanic must be able to
explain the problem to you (in layman's terms) so you get it. I highly,
highly recommend anyone and everyone to attend one of her free classes.
You won't regret it!
What Women Auto Know by Tammie Jo??
| Great
workshop! But don't let the title fool you ... everyone should take
this class, women, men, boys & girls! If you have young drivers in
your house-hold / life, you should take them to this. In fact,
something like this should be a part of driver's education classes. Of
course, Audra was what took this from good to great. She gave
simple, easy to follow instructions, was very patient and even sent
everyone home with handouts to serve as reminders. All this from a free
class! Audra, your community is blessed to have you. I hope your
willingness to help and empower others is duplicated by others. Way to
lead by example!? |

What Women Auto Know??
June 2, 2010 I met Audra at the What Women Auto
Know workshop on May 15, 2010. She was excited and glad to meet us. She
was knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful it is wondeful to see a shop
that is female owned. Her free class was excellent, she showed women
how to change the fluids in your car. Also, how to change a tire. Every
women should attend her class you will learn a lot. She enpowers you on
not being afraid in questioning you mechanic on servicing your vehicle.
She says, "Show me, If your mechanic says you need such and such".

Audra
is a very good instructor. She demonstrated how to change a tire and
then had us each take part in the process. She showed us where all of
the essential fluids are located and gave us helpful roadside
information. This class is essential for everyone since everyone will
either be a driver or passenger at some point and no one wants to be
stranded or taken in by a dishonest mechanic.?
Trustworthy and very helpful!!!

This
is my first review but I really appreciate the service I received at
the Great Bear on Sanford Ave so I'm making an account to post my
experiences. I've been going here for the past year based on
recommendations from friends. It's very trustworthy and the people can
be either very friendly or straight to the point, both of which are
positives. If you're Korean, there are also a few great Korean
mechanics (along with a few other mechanics) who can help you. Audra,
one of the female mechanics, is amazing. She holds free workshops for
women (or anyone) to educate them on auto repair (check for dates on
google maps announcements). She's super friendly and I learned a lot
from just one session with her. She's really passionate about auto
repair and teaching and is the perfect person to go to if you don't
know much and are looking for a great auto repair shop. I highly
recommend this place.
